Education for
Every Generation.

Our schools shape our children, our families and the future of Mississauga. Jad El Ghali is running so parents and students in Wards 1 and 7 have someone at the board table who listens, speaks up and keeps them informed.

Election dayOctober 26, 2026

Listen locally. Act responsibly.

Support students. Respect educators.

Plan today. Prepare every generation.

A community voice at the board table

Schools should work for the whole family and the future ahead.

From the first day of kindergarten to graduation and beyond, public education is part of every family’s story.

Jad is running because families deserve a trustee who will answer their questions, take their concerns seriously and speak up when something needs to change. Trustees make decisions together, but one strong local voice can make sure parents and students are not ignored. Jad will bring what he hears in the community to the board and explain what happens next in clear, honest language.

“Every student deserves the support to learn, the confidence to belong and the opportunity to build a future.”

A practical agenda for Wards 1 & 7

Four priorities. One clear purpose.

Parents and students know their schools better than anyone. They deserve more than a chance to comment after decisions are made. Jad will bring their ideas and concerns to the board table, ask the difficult questions and push for real answers and better results.

01

Strong foundations

Every child should get the help they need before a small struggle becomes a bigger one. Jad will keep the focus on reading, writing, mathematics and the thinking skills students use every day.

Learn well. Grow with confidence.
02

Safe, healthy schools

Students learn best when they feel safe, supported and welcome. That should be true online, in the classroom, in the hallway and on the schoolyard.

Well-being makes learning possible.
03

Ready for what’s next

Students should be able to see a future that fits their strengths, whether it leads to the skilled trades, college, university, entrepreneurship or a career that is still emerging.

More choices. More possibilities.
04

Trust through transparency

Families should not have to dig through long reports to understand a decision. Jad will share clear updates, explain how money is being used and make it easier to speak up.

Listen. Explain. Follow through.

Representation starts with listening

Wards 1 & 7 deserve a trustee who stays connected.

Port Credit, Mineola, Lakeview, Cooksville, Fairview and Mississauga Valley are different communities, and every school has its own story. The best way to represent them is to show up, listen and stay in touch.

  • Regular office hours where parents and students can talk directly with Jad
  • Short, clear updates after important board decisions
  • Students included in conversations about their school experience
  • Stronger connections between schools and helpful local services

Education for every generation

A promise that grows with our community.

The choices we make today should help the child starting school, the teenager planning what comes next, the family looking for support and the community our graduates will one day lead.
